Pengembangan Program Circuit Training SITI SAKTI Berbasis Tempat Kerja untuk Optimalisasi Kebugaran Jasmani Karyawan Rumah Sakit dengan Berat Badan Lebih: Studi Kualitatif = Development of a Workplace-Based SITI SAKTI Circuit Training Program to Optimize Physical Fitness Among Hospital Employees with Excess Body Weight: A Qualitative Study.

Berat badan berlebih pada karyawan rumah sakit berpotensi menurunkan kebugaran serta memengaruhi performa dan kesiapan kerja, sehingga dibutuhkan intervensi latihan fisik yang praktis, aman, dan dapat diimplementasikan di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menyempurnakan model latihan circuit training berbasis tempat kerja untuk karyawan rumah sakit dengan berat badan berlebih melalui proses partisipatif bersama pakar dan pengguna. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali secara hybrid (luring dan daring) untuk menggali persepsi, pengalaman, hambatan, dan preferensi terhadap rancangan program, sekaligus memperoleh masukan perbaikan agar sesuai konteks institusi dan kebutuhan karyawan. Partisipan terdiri atas kelompok ahli/ pakar (kedokteran olahraga, fisiologi olahraga, psikologi olahraga) serta kelompok pengguna (pegawai RSUI dengan variasi peran dan jadwal kerja) untuk menilai kelayakan ilmiah dan implementasi program. Analisis menghasilkan empat tema utama sebagai dasar penyempurnaan program: (1) aspek gerakan, intensitas, dan standarisasi program; (2) aspek fisiologis; (3) aspek psikologis dan motivasi peserta; serta (4) hambatan, kesiapan, dan preferensi pengguna dalam implementasi. Hasil penelitian memformulasikan model “Whole Body ICE (Integrated Concurrent Exercise) Circuit Training” bernama SITI SAKTI (Circuit Training Sehat Kuat Terbukti), berupa latihan kombinasi aerobik–resistensi intensitas sedang dalam 10 pos, frekuensi 2 kali/minggu, durasi 40 menit (pemanasan 5 menit, inti 30 menit, pendinginan 5 menit), dengan target intensitas awal RPE 2–3 (minggu 1–3) dan meningkat menjadi RPE 4–5 (minggu 4–10). Simpulan, pengembangan SITI SAKTI berbasis masukan pakar dan pengguna menghasilkan rancangan program yang lebih terstandarisasi, terukur, serta mempertimbangkan keamanan, motivasi, dan kendala implementasi di lingkungan kerja rumah sakit, sehingga berpotensi diterapkan sebagai program kebugaran karyawan berbasis institusi.

Excess body weight among hospital employees may reduce physical fitness and affect work performance and readiness; therefore, a practical, safe, and workplace-feasible exercise intervention is needed. This study aimed to develop and refine a workplace-based circuit training model for hospital employees with excess body weight through a participatory process involving experts and end-users. A qualitative approach was employed using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) conducted in three sessions using a hybrid format (on-site and online) to explore perceptions, experiences, barriers, and preferences related to the program design, and to obtain iterative feedback to ensure contextual fit with institutional conditions and employee needs. Participants included an expert panel (sports medicine, exercise physiology, and sport psychology) and an enduser group (hospital employees representing diverse roles and work schedules) to assess both scientific soundness and implementation feasibility. The analysis yielded four main themes informing program refinement: (1) movement selection, intensity, and program standardization; (2) physiological considerations; (3) psychological aspects and participant motivation; and (4) barriers, readiness, and user preferences for implementation. The study formulated the “Whole Body ICE (Integrated Concurrent Exercise) Circuit Training” program titled SITI SAKTI (Circuit Training Sehat Kuat Terbukti), consisting of combined aerobic–resistance exercise at moderate intensity delivered in 10 stations, performed twice weekly, with a total duration of 40 minutes (5- minute warm-up, 30-minute main session, 5-minute cool-down). The target intensity was set at an initial RPE of 2–3 (weeks 1–3), progressing to an RPE of 4–5 (weeks 4–10). In conclusion, the participatory development of SITI SAKTI—grounded in expert and user input—produced a more standardized and measurable program that accounts for safety, motivation, and real-world implementation constraints in hospital workplaces, thereby supporting its potential adoption as an institution-based employee fitness program.
