Hubungan Antara Pola Kerja dengan Kejadian Burnout pada Petugas Kesehatan Bidang Kekarantinaan Kesehatan di Jakarta = Understanding Burnout Among Healthcare Workers in the Health Quarantine Sector in Jakarta: The Role of Work Patterns.
Latar Belakang: Pola kerja shift di BBKK Bandara X dilaksanakan dalam bentuk shift panjang. Jam kerja yang panjang, sistem kerja shift yang tidak menentu, serta tuntutan untuk selalu siap siaga dalam situasi darurat berpotensi menimbulkan burnout. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor demografi dan faktor pekerjaan terhadap burnout pada petugas kesehatan di BBKK Bandara X. Metode: Sebuah penelitian potong lintang dilakukan pada bulan September-Oktober 2025 dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari hasil survei pola kerja dan kelelahan kerja serta produktivitas pada petugas kesehatan BBKK Bandara X oleh PT Y. Instrumen pengukuran burnout yang digunakan adalah kuesioner MBI. Hasil: Data sekunder berjumlah 114 responden. Prevalensi burnout pada tenaga kesehatan BBKK Bandara X adalah 25,4%. Proporsi responden dengan depersonalisasi kategori tinggi 25,4% lebih banyak dibanding dengan kategori tinggi pada dimensi lain. Didapatkan nilai p>0,05 pada uji statistik hubungan variabel jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, status pernikahan, jumlah anak, memiliki anak balita, pola kerja, masa kerja, wilayah kerja, status kepegawaian, jarak rumah ke tempat kerja dengan burnout. Didapatkan nilai p pada uji statistik hubungan variabel umur (p=0,038) dan jumlah anak (p=0,047) dengan penurunan prestasi diri. Pada analisis multivariat hubungan umur dengan burnout didapatkan nilai p=0,049. Kesimpulan: Terdapat lebih dari seperempat total sampel responden yang mengalami burnout. Tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, status pernikahan, jumlah anak, memiliki anak balita, pola kerja, masa kerja, wilayah kerja, status kepegawaian, jarak rumah ke tempat kerja terhadap burnout. Terdapat hubungan antara umur dan jumlah anak dengan dimensi penurunan prestasi diri. Umur berhubungan signifikan dengan burnout setelah dikontrol oleh pola kerja dan jenis kelamin pada tenaga kesehatan BBKK Bandara X. Semakin bertambahnya umur semakin tidak burnout pada tenaga kesehatan BBKK Bandara X.

Background: The shift work system at BBKK’s X Airport is implemented in the form of long working shifts. Extended shifts, irregular schedules, and the constant demand to remain on standby for emergency situations have the potential to cause burnout among health workers. Objective: This study aims to investigate how demographic and occupational factors are related to burnout among health workers at BBKK’s X Airport among health workers at BBKK’s X Airport. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in September–October 2025 using secondary data from a survey on work patterns, work fatigue, and productivity among health workers at BBKK’s X Airport conducted by PT Y. Burnout was measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire. Results: A total of 114 respondents were included in the secondary data analysis. The prevalence of burnout among health workers at BBKK’s X Airport was 25.4%. Respondents with a high level of depersonalization accounted for 25.4%, which was higher than the proportion of respondents with high scores in the other burnout dimensions. Statistical tests showed p-values > 0.05 for the relationships between gender, education level, marital status, having children under five, work patterns, years of service, work area, employment status, or distance from home to workplace with overall burnout. Further analysis revealed that age (p = 0.038) and number of children (p = 0.047) were significantly associated with the dimension of reduced personal accomplishment. Multivariate analysis showed a p-value of 0.049 for age, indicating an independent association with burnout. Conclusion: More than one-fourth of the respondents experienced burnout. No statistically significant relationships were found between gender, education level, marital status, having children under five, work patterns, years of service, work area, employment status, or distance from home to workplace and burnout. Likewise, there were no significant differences between these factors and the dimensions of emotional exhaustion or depersonalization. However, age and number of children were significantly associated with reduced personal accomplishment. The multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that age was significantly associated with burnout after adjusting for work pattern and gender among healthcare workers at BBKK’s X Airport. The negative direction of the association indicates that increasing age serves as a protective factor against burnout, suggesting that older healthcare workers are less likely to experience burnout compared to their younger counterparts.
