Korelasi IMT Pasien Donor Ginjal Dengan Waktu Operasi Transplantasi Ginjal Di RSCM Pada 2019-2024 = Correlation of BMI of Kidney Donor Patients with Kidney Transplant Operation Time at RSCM in 2019-2024.
Latar Belakang Transplantasi ginjal merupakan terapi pilihan utama bagi pasien penyakit ginjal tahap akhir karena memberikan kelangsungan hidup lebih baik dibandingkan dialisis. Keberhasilan prosedur dipengaruhi karakteristik pendonor, termasuk indeks massa tubuh (IMT) yang dapat memengaruhi kesulitan teknis dan durasi pembedahan. Namun, penelitian terkait hubungan IMT donor dan durasi operasi di Indonesia masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis korelasi IMT donor ginjal dengan durasi operasi transplantasi ginjal di RSCM periode 2019–2024. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan data sekunder rekam medis donor ginjal hidup di RSCM periode 2019–2024 yang menjalani laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy (LLDN). Sebanyak 350 sampel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Spearman, Kruskal–Wallis, Mann–Whitney U, serta regresi linear berganda (p < 0.05). Hasil Mayoritas donor perempuan (59.4%) dengan median usia 45 tahun dan IMT 24.46 kg/m². Sebagian besar prosedur dilakukan pada ginjal kiri (99.4%) dengan median durasi operasi 265 menit. IMT tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap durasi operasi (p=0,565), sedangkan usia (p=0,027), jenis kelamin (p=0,011), dan variasi arteri (p=0,006) bermakna. Durasi operasi meningkat 0,786 menit per tahun usia, donor laki-laki 18,606 menit lebih lama, dan arteri multipel menambah 22,695 menit. Ketiga faktor hanya menjelaskan 7.5% variasi durasi operasi. Kesimpulan Tidak ditemukan korelasi signifikan antara IMT, variasi vena, dan sisi ginjal dengan lamanya nefrektomi donor. Namun, usia, jenis kelamin, dan variasi arteri renalis merupakan faktor independen yang berpengaruh terhadap durasi pembedahan. Meskipun demikian, pengendalian berat badan tetap penting bagi calon pendonor.

Introduction Kidney transplantation is the preferred therapy for end-stage renal disease because it provides better survival than dialysis. Procedural success depends on donor characteristics, including body mass index (BMI), which may influence technical difficulty and operative duration. However, studies on the association between donor BMI and operative time in Indonesia are limited. This study aimed to assess the correlation between donor BMI and operative duration at RSCM from 2019-2024. Method This cross-sectional study used secondary medical record data of living kidney donors at RSCM from 2019–2024 who underwent laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy (LLDN). A total of 350 samples met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using Spearman, Kruskal–Wallis, Mann–Whitney U tests, and multiple linear regression (p < 0.05). Results Most donors were female (59.4%) with a median age of 45 years and BMI of 24.46 kg/m². Nearly all procedures were performed on the left kidney (99.4%), with a median operative duration of 265 minutes. BMI was not significantly associated with operative duration (p=0.565), while age (p=0.027), sex (p=0.011), and arterial variation (p=0.006) were significant. Operative time increased 0.786 minutes per year, 18.606 minutes in males, and 22.695 minutes with multiple arteries, explaining about 7.5% variability. Conclusion There was no significant correlation between BMI, venous variation, or kidney laterality with operative duration. However, age, sex, and renal arterial variation were independent predictors of operative duration. Although BMI did not affect operative time, weight control remains important for prospective donors.
