Korelasi antara Tekanan Inspirasi Maksimal dengan Sit-to-Stand Test pada Pasien Pasca COVID-19 = Correlation Between Maximal Inspiratory Pressure and Sit-to-Stand Test in Post Covid-19 Patients.
Latar Belakang: Pasien pasca COVID-19 sering mengalami gangguan fungsi respirasi, terutama otot pernafasan. Pada beberapa kasus pasca COVID-19, terjadi gangguan kapasitas fungsional pasien. Penilaian tekanan inspirasi maksimal dan sit-to-stand test merupakan metode noninvasif yang dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi tersebut. Beberapa studi menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara tekanan inspirasi maksimal dengan sit-to-stand test, tetapi belum ada penelitian serupa di Indonesia. Objektif: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai korelasi antara tekanan inspirasi maksimal dan sit-to-stand test 30 detik pada pasien pasca COVID-19 Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional yang melibatkan subjek pasien RS Persahabatan berusia 18–59 tahun yang pernah terdiagnosis COVID-19 dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pemeriksaan meliputi fungsi paru dengan spirometri, tekanan inspirasi maksimal, dan sit-to-stand test 30 detik. Data dianalisis secara statistik untuk menentukan korelasi antara variabel. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif sedang yang bermakna antara tekanan inspirasi maksimal dan sit-to-stand test 30 detik (r = 0.515, p=0.001). Rerata tekanan inspirasi maksimal adalah 79.03 ± 26.68 cmH₂O, sementara rerata sit-to-stand test 30 detik adalah 12.78 ± 2.47 kali. Kesimpulan: Terdapat korelasi positif sedang yang bermakna antara sit-to-stand test dan tekanan inspirasi maksimal pada pasien pasca COVID-19. Sit-to-stand test dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai metode penilaian alternatif yang sederhana dan murah dalam menilai kekuatan otot pernapasan.

Background: Some Post-COVID-19 patients experience impaired respiratory function, especially respiratory muscles. In some cases after COVID-19, there is an impairment of the patient's functional capacity. Assessment of Maximal Inspiratory Pressure and Sitto-Stand Test are noninvasive methods that can be used to evaluate these conditions. Several studies have shown a correlation between Maximal Inspiratory Pressure and Sitto-Stand Test, but there has been no similar research in Indonesia. Objective: This study aims to assess the correlation between Maximal Inspiratory Pressure and 30-second Sit-to-Stand Test in post-COVID-19 patients. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design involving subjects of Persahabatan General Hospital patients aged 18-59 years who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The examination included pulmonary function with spirometry, maximal inspiratory pressure, and 30-second sit-to-stand test. Data were analyzed statistically to determine the correlation between variables. Results: This study showed a significant moderate positive correlation between Maximal Inspiratory Pressure and 30-second Sit-to-Stand Test (r=0.515, p=0.001). The mean Maximal Inspiratory Pressure was 79.03 ± 26.68 cmH₂O, while the mean 30s Sit-to-Stand Test was 12.78 ± 2.47 times. Conclusion: There is a significant moderate positive correlation between Sit-to-Stand Test and Maximal Inspiratory Pressure in post-COVID-19 patients. Sit-to-Stand Test can be considered as a simple and inexpensive alternative assessment method in assessing respiratory muscle strength.
