Karakteristik Kelainan Refraksi Pasca Operasi Katarak di Rumah Sakit Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana pada Juli 2023 – Juni 2024 = Characteristic of Post-Cataract Surgery Disorder at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana Hospital in July 2023 – June 2024.

Latar Belakang Katarak merupakan penyebab kebutaan, yang dapat diatasi dengan prosedur pembedahan. Target hasil refraksi pasca operasi sebesar 6/12 atau lebih baik, namun tidak seluruh pasien mencapai target tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari kelainan refraksi pasca operasi di Rumah Sakit Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana. Metode Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif observasional, metode cross-sectional pada pasien pasca operasi katarak di Rumah Sakit Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana pada bulan Juli 2023 hingga Juni 2024 dengan data yang diambil dari rekam medis subjek penelitian. Hasil Dari 406 subjek penelitian terinklusi, tercapai visus pasca operasi katarak dengan koreksi good sebesar 406 sampel (100%); deviasi refraksi excellent sebesar 164 sampel (40,4%), good sebesar 113 sampel (27,8%), dan refractive surprise 129 sampel (31,8%); serta refraksi residual excellent sebesar 154 (37,9%), good sebesar 91 sampel (22,4%), dan bad sebesar 161 sampel (39,7%). Sementara itu, terdapat 608 subjek penelitian terekslusi dengan 420 sampel (69,1%) tercatat memiliki komorbiditas. Komorbiditas tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi komorbiditas okular sejumlah 378 sampel (62,2%), diikuti komorbiditas sistemik & okular sejumlah 36 sampel (5,9%), dan sistemik sejumlah 6 sampel (1,0%). Kesimpulan Sebagian besar hasil visus subjek penelitian pasca operasi katarak dengan koreksi berhasil mencapai 6/12 yang ditunjukkan dari dominasi kelompok excellent walaupun terdapat deviasi refraksi dan refraksi residual. Di sisi lain, sebagian besar dari subjek penelitian yang tidak mencapai visus 6/12 memiliki komorbiditas.

Introduction Cataracts are one of the causes of blindness that can be treated with surgery. The target of postoperative refractive outcome is 6/12 or better, but not all cases are able to achieve it. This study aims to determine the characteristics of postoperative refractive errors at Rumah Sakit Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana. Method The design of this study is descriptive observational, cross-sectional method in postcataract surgery patients at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Kirana Hospital from July 2023 to June 2024, with data taken from the medical records of the research subjects. Results Out of 406 included research subjects, best corrected visual acuity post-cataract surgery achieved good category in 406 samples (100%); residual refraction achieved category excellent in 164 samples (40.4%), good in 113 samples (27.8%), and refractive surprise in 129 samples (31.8%); and residual refraction achieved category excellent in 154 samples (37.9%), good in 91 samples (22.4%), and bad in 161 samples (39.7%). Meanwhile, there were 608 excluded research subjects with 420 samples (69,1%) recorded with comorbidities. These comorbidities were grouped into ocular comorbidities of 378 samples (62.2%), followed by systemic & ocular comorbidities of 36 samples (5.9%), and systemic comorbidities of 6 samples (1.0%). Conclusion Mainly, postoperative refractive outcome of research subjects’ able to achieve 6/12, shown by the dominance of the excellent group, despite the presents of refractive deviations and residual refraction. On the other hand, most of the excluded research subjects who did not achieve 6/12 vision recorded with comorbidities.
