Korelasi Asupan dan Kadar Zinc Rambut dengan Hitung Limfosit Total Pasien Laparatomi Onkologi Ginekologik = Correlation of Zinc Intake and Hair Zinc Levels with Total Lymphocyte Counts in Gynecologic Oncology Laparotomy Patients.

Latar belakang: Pembedahan memicu kerusakan jaringan dan respons imun tubuh. Limfositopenia meningkatkan risiko infeksi pascaoperasi. Zinc merupakan salah satu nutrisi yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung imun tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara asupan dan kadar zinc rambut dengan hitung limfosit total pasien laparatomi onkologi ginekologik. Metode: Penelitian dengan desain potong lintang dilakukan di RSCM pada Agustus–November 2024. Subjek penelitian didapatkan dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Data didapatkan dari wawancara karakteristik dan asupan menggunakan semi quantitative-food frequency questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), pemeriksaan fisik, antropometri, pemeriksaan kadar zinc rambut dengan metode inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, dan hitung limfosit total. Analisis data menggunakan uji Pearson/Spearman. Hasil: Dari 50 subjek, nilai hitung limfosit total pacaoperasi 1,23 (0,47– 3,33)x103/µL dengan nilai rendah pada 40% subjek, asupan zinc 6,95 ±2,30 mg/hari, dengan asupan rendah pada 72% subjek, dan kadar zinc rambut 149,78 ±64,71 µg/g dengan nilai rendah pada 58% subjek. Tidak terdapat korelasi antara asupan dan kadar zinc rambut (r = –0,061 p=0,671), asupan zinc dan hitung limfosit total pascaoperasi (r=0,061, p=0,672) ataupun kadar zinc rambut dan hitung limfosit total pascaoperasi (r=0,044, p=0,761). Terdapat korelasi antara kadar zinc rambut dengan limfosit praoperasi (r=0,288 p=0,043) dan albumin (r=0,463 p=0,001). Terdapat korelasi antara indeks massa tubuh dengan limfosit praoperasi (r=0,448 p=0,001) dan albumin (r=0,336 p=0,017). Terdapat korelasi asupan zinc dengan energi (r=0,493 p < 0,001) dan protein (r=0,705 p < 0,001). Kesimpulan: Tidak ditemukan korelasi antara asupan zinc, kadar zinc rambut, dan hitung limfosit total pascaoperasi pada pasien laparatomi onkologi ginekologik.

Background: Surgery induces tissue damage and body's immune response. Lymphocytopenia increases the risk of infection. Zinc is one of the nutrients essential for supporting the immune system. This study aims to determine the correlation between zinc intake, hair zinc levels and total lymphocyte counts (TLC) in gynecologic oncology laparotomy patients. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at RSCM during August– November 2024. Subjects were selected by consecutive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, dietary intake using a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), physical, anthropometric examinations, hair zinc analysis using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, and total lymphocyte counts. Data were analyzed using Pearson/Spearman test. Results: Fifty subjects were collected with postoperative TLC was 1.23 (0.47– 3.33) 10³/μL, with 40% having low TLC. Zinc intake was 6.95±2.30 mg/day, with 72% having low intake. The hair zinc level was 149.78±64.71 μg/g, with 58% having low levels. This study did not find a correlation between zinc intake and hair zinc levels (r= –0.061, p=0.671), zinc intake and postoperative TLC (r=0.061, p=0.672), or hair zinc levels and postoperative TLC (r=0.044, p=0.761). There were correlations between hair zinc levels and preoperative TLC (r=0.288, p=0.043) and albumin (r=0.463, p=0.001). There were correlations between body mass index and preoperative TLC (r=0.448, p=0.001) and albumin (r=0.336, p=0.017), between zinc intake and energy (r=0.493, p < 0.001) and protein (r=0.705, p < 0.001) Conclusion: This study did not find a correlation between zinc intake, hair zinc levels, and postoperative total lymphocyte counts in gynecologic oncology patients undergoing laparotomy.
