Hubungan antara Parameter Laboratoris saat Admisi dengan Lama Rawat pada pasien COVID-19 dengan Riwayat Penyakit Jantung = The Relationship Between Laboratory Parameters at Admission and Length of Hospitalization in COVID-19 Patients with Cardiovascular Disease.

Introduction Cardiovascular disease is associated with severe COVID-19. The aim of this study was to analyze laboratory factors at admission and the length of stay (LOS) in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with cardiovascular disease. Method This is an analytical cross-sectional study of consecutive adult patients admitted at Harapan Kita National Heart and Vascular Hospital (RSJPDNHK), between January 2021 and November of 2022, with confirmed SARSCoV-2 infection. Data was obtained from the hospital’s COVID-19 registry. Spearman’s rank correlation test was used for bivariate analysis, followed by multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression. Results Three-hundred and twenty five patients were included. Subject’s age ranged from 19 to 90 with the median of 59 years. Most of the patients were male (67.1%) and were obese (41.3%). Pre-existing cardiovascular disease and cardiac comorbidity of subjects were hypertension (66.2%), coronary artery disease (51.1%), heart failure (36.6%), DM (36.6%), valvular disease (26.2%), arrhythmia (20.9%), smoking (20,3%), cardiovascular disease (16.6%) and dyslipidemia (12.6%). On bivariate analysis for length of stay, hs Troponin T levels, Hb, Ht, leukocyte, creatinine, random blood glucose and CT value levels were NOT associated with LOS. On multivariate analysis, only C reactive protein levels were significant. Conclusions C-reactive protein levels at admission was found to be a significant predictor of longer hospital stay patients with cardiovascular disease hospitalized due to COVID-19 at RSJPDNHK during 2021-2022.
