PENGETAHUAN SIKAP DAN PERILAKU MASYARAKAT DEPOK TERHADAP STROKE = KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES, AND PRACTICES OF THE DEPOK COMMUNITY TOWARDS STROKE.

Latar Belakang Stroke merupakan penyebab disabilitas nomor satu di dunia dan penyebab kematian nomor dua di dunia. Stroke juga menjadi penyebab kematian kesembilan di rumah sakit di Depok. Keterlambatan pra-rumah sakit memberi kontribusi besar terhadap penanganan stroke yang buruk. Karena itu, pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat Depok terhadap stroke perlu dinilai untuk mengetahui penyebab dari keterlambatan pra-rumah sakit tersebut. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Data diperoleh dengan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan komponen pengetahuan, 4 pertanyaan komponen sikap, dan 3 pertanyaan komponen perilaku. Hasil Dari 400 responden yang mewakili masyarakat Depok, terdapat sebanyak 82,5% dari masyarakat Depok kurang mengetahui tentang stroke. Sejumlah 60,75% dari masyarakat Depok bersikap kurang baik terhadap stroke dan sebanyak 56,25% dari masyarakat Depok memiliki perilaku yang kurang baik terhadap stroke. Kesimpulan Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat Depok memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku terhadap stroke yang kurang baik.

Introduction Stroke is the number one cause of disability in the world and the number two cause of death in the world. Stroke is also the ninth cause of death in hospitals in Depok. Prehospital delays contribute greatly to poor stroke management. Therefore, the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the Depok community towards stroke need to be assessed to find out the causes of pre-hospital delays. Method This research uses a descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling technique. Data was obtained using a questionnaire consisting of 12 knowledge component questions, 4 attitude component questions, and 3 behavior component questions. Results Of the 400 respondents representing the people of Depok, 82.5% have poor knowledge about stroke. A total of 60.75% of the people of Depok have a poor attitude toward stroke, and 56.25% of the people of Depok exhibit poor behavior towards stroke. Conclusion The result shows that the majority of the people of Depok have inadequate knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding stroke.
