Korelasi Kadar Timbal Dalam Darah Dan Kadar 25(OH)D Serum Terhadap Kadar NT-ProBNP Pada Pekerja Terpajan Timbal = Correlation Of Blood Lead Levels And Serum 25(OH)D Levels To NT-ProBNP Levels In Lead-Exposed Workers.

Latar belakang. Pajanan timbal dapat memengaruhi kadar vitamin D dan dikenali sebagai faktor risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Kadar vitamin D mungkin berperan dalam perkembangan penyakit kardiovaskuler. N-terminal proBNP (NT-proBNP) dikenal sebagai biomarker yang berguna dalam mendeteksi risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Penelitian analisis pendahuluan ini meneliti korelasi potensial antara kadar timbal dalam darah (KTD), kadar 25(OH)D serum dan kadar NT-ProBNP pada pekerja yang terpajan timbal. Metode. Sebuah studi cross-sectional dilakukan terhadap 96 pekerja laki-laki terpajan timbal. Sampel darah vena dikumpulkan dari semua peserta penelitian. KTD telah diukur menggunakan Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), kadar NTProBNP dan kadar 25(OH)D serum diukur menggunakan electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA). Hubungan dianalisis dengan korelasi. Signifikansi statistik didefinisikan sebagai p-value < 0,05. Hasil. Kami menemukan korelasi antara KTD dan kadar 25(OH)D serum (r = 0,21, p = 0.036), tetapi kami tidak menemukan korelasi antara KTD dan kadar NT-ProBNP (r = 0,10, p = 0.428) maupun korelasi kadar 25(OH)D serum dan kadar NT-ProBNP (r = 0,15, p = 0,243) dalam penelitian kami. Diskusi. Tidak adanya korelasi mungkin disebabkan oleh fakta bahwa kadar timbal dalam darah dalam sampel belum mencapai tingkat yang dapat menimbulkan efek. Kesimpulan. Studi kami menemukan bahwa KTD berkorelasi dengan kadar 25(OH)D serum, KTD tidak berkorelasi dengan kadar NT-ProBNP, kadar 25(OH)D serum tidak berkorelasi dengan kadar NT-ProBNP.

Introduction. Lead exposure can affect vitamin D levels and is recognized as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Vitamin D levels may play a role in the development of cardiovascular disease. N-terminal proBNP (NT-proBNP) is recognized as a useful biomarker in and detection of cardiovascular disease risk. This preliminary analytical study examined potential correlations between blood lead levels (BLL), serum 25(OH)D levels and NT-proBNP levels in lead-exposed workers. Methods. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 96 male workers in a lead-exposed. Venous blood samples were collected from all study participants. BLL was measured using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), NT-ProBNP and serum 25(OH)D levels were measured using electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA). Relationships were analyzed by correlation. Statistical significance was defined as p-value < 0.05. Results. We found correlation between BLL and serum 25(OH)D concentrations (r = 0,21, p = 0.036), no correlation between BLL and NT ProBNP levels (r = 0,10, p = 0.428) and no correlation between serum 25(OH)D levels and NT ProBNP levels (r = 0,15, p = 0,243) in our study. Discussion. The absence of a correlation may be due to the fact that the blood lead levels in the samples have not reached levels that can cause effects. Conclusion. We found that BLL was correlated with serum 25(OH)D concentrations, but BLL was not correlated with NT-ProBNP levels also serum 25(OH)D concentrations with NT-ProBNP levels.
