Pengaruh Computer-Mediated Communication Terhadap Occupational Positive Mental Health Yang Dimediasi Oleh WorkFamily Enrichment Pada Pekerja di Daerah Terpencil = The Effect of Computer-Mediated Communication on Occupational Positive Mental Health Mediated by Work-Family Enrichment in Workers in Remote Areas.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh komunikasi yang dimediasi komputer (CMC) terhadap kesehatan mental positif pekerjaan (OPMH) yang dimediasi oleh pengayaan pekerjaan-keluarga (WFE) pada pekerja di daerah terpencil dengan menggunakan kuesioner CMC, OPMH-40, dan WFE. Variabel laten dalam penelitian ini adalah CMC, OPMH, dan WFE. Variabel yang diamati mencakup semua item dari CMC, OPMH, dan WFE. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling, terungkap bahwa 349 pekerja di departemen proyek perusahaan minyak dan gas yang berlokasi di Provinsi Papua Barat Indonesia menyatakan kesediaan mereka untuk berpartisipasi sebagai partisipan penelitian. Untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis structural equality modeling (SEM) dengan menguji pengukuran dan model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efek WFE sebagai mediator memperkuat pengaruh CMC terhadap OPMH dibandingkan dengan efek langsung. Penelitian ini menjelaskan mekanisme WFE, yang bertindak sebagai mediator parsial, meningkatkan efek CMC terhadap OPMH. Komunikasi antara pekerja dengan keluarga akan meningkatkan kesehatan mental pekerja karena komunikasi dapat menjadi sarana dukungan bagi pekerja yang terpisah secara geografis dari keluarga. Manajemen perusahaan perlu mendukung karyawan dalam menerapkan CMC dengan keluarga untuk meningkatkan OPMH dan WFE, serta mengurangi pengaruh negatif konflik pekerjaan-keluarga, sehingga produktivitas kerja akan meningkat.

This study aims to examine the effect of computer-mediated communication (CMC) on occupational positive mental health (OPMH) mediated by work-family enrichment (WFE) in workers in remote areas using the CMC, OPMH-40, and WFE questionnaires. The latent variables in this study are CMC, OPMH, and WFE. The observed variables include all items from CMC, OPMH, and WFE. The sample technique used was total sampling, revealing that 349 workers in the project department of an oil and gas company located in the West Papua Province of Indonesia expressed their willingness to participate as research participants. To test research hypotheses using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis by testing measurement and structural models. The results showed that the effect of WFE as a mediator strengthened the influence of CMC on OPMH in comparison to the direct effect. This study explains the mechanism by which WFE, acting as a partial mediator, increases the effect of CMC on OPMH. The communication between workers and their families will increase their mental health as it serves as a means of support for workers who are geographically separated from their family. Company management needs to support employees in implementing CMC with their families to increase OPMH and WFE, as well as reduce the negative influence of work-to-family conflict, so that work productivity will increase.
