Since the publication of the last edition, we have seen hypofractionation become the standard of care for many patients with breast and prostate cancer, new data guiding the use of stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy across multiple disease sites, an increase in the utilization of advanced treatment planning and delivery techniques, and the rise of immunotherapy, just to name a few.
