Tingkat Kepatuhan Terapi Radiasi Pasien Kanker Serviks Stadium Lanjut dalam Kurun Waktu Pandemi COVID-19 = Compliance Level to Radiation Therapy in Advanced Stage Cervical Cancer Patients During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Penilaian kepatuhan dilihat dari periode terapi, kunjungan, dan lost to follow up (LTFU).

Introduction Advanced cervical cancer generally requires radiation therapy. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted in changes to many regulations that impose restrictions on activities. This study aims to determine the level of compliance with radiation therapy in advanced cervical cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method Retrospective observations were carried out on patients with advanced cervical cancer at RSCM Jakarta who was diagnosed in 2019-2021 (n=177) based on data from cancer registration and medical records. Compliance assessment is seen from the therapy period, number of visits, and number of lost to follow up (LTFU). Results The overall duration of therapy for advanced cervical cancer patients at RSCM Jakarta was 59 (Min-Max 9-325; CI 95%:57,8-67,9) days, with details before the pandemic having a median of59 (Min-Max 9-226; CI 95%: 51,7-71,1) days with a median number of visits of 33 (Min-Max 5-61; CI 95%: 31,08-33,2) and 58 (Min-Max 18-325; CI 95%: 57,7-69,6) days with a median number of visits of 32 (Min-Max 5-50; CI 95%: 27,1- 32,0) during the pandemic. LTFU rate for advanced cervical cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy at RSCM Jakarta is relatively high because it shows 116 subjects (65%) with a lower percentage during the pandemic, namely 58.1%, compared to before the pandemic is 81%. Conclusion Based on data on duration of therapy, number of visits, and LTFU, the level of compliance with radiation therapy for patients with advanced cervical cancer is considered low. The level of therapy compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic was better than before the COVID-19 pandemic.
