Analisis Komposisi dan Distribusi Batu Empedu serta Hubungannya terhadap Usia dan Jenis Kelamin di Jakarta = Analysis of the composition and distribution of gallstones and its association with age and gender in Jakarta.

Latar Belakang: Batu empedu merupakan penyakit yang banyak ditemukan di negara Barat. Namun dengan adanya perubahan sosial ekonomi, penyakit ini mulai banyak ditemukan pula pada negara berkembang. Komposisi batu empedu dapat dipengaruhi oleh umur dan jenis kelamin. Tujuan: Mengetahui distribusi komposisi batu empedu dan hubungannya terhadap usia serta jenis kelamin di Jakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross-sectional dengan jumlah 230 sampel data analisis komposisi batu empedu di Laboratorium Biokimia dan Biologi Molekuler FKUI. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan SPSS tipe 20 dengan menggunakan uji mann whitney untuk melihat hubungan antara kelompok usia terhadap komposisi Fe, pigmen empedu, dan fosfat serta uji chi square untuk melihat hubungan antara jenis kelamin terhadap komposisi batu empedu dan untuk melihat hubungan antara kelompok usia terhadap komposisi kolesterol, kalsium, dan karbonat. Hasil: Batu empedu paling banyak ditemukan pada perempuan dari pada laki-laki (1,7 : 1) dan pada kelompok usia 40—49 tahun (27,00%). Komposisi yang paling banyak ditemukan, yaitu kolesterol (83,91%). Hubungan antara kelompok usia terhadap komposisi kolesterol menunjukkan hasil signifikan (p < 0,05) namun tidak siginifikan (p > 0,05) terhadap komposisi lainnya. Hubungan antara jenis kelamin terhadap komposisi batu empedu menunjukkan hasil tidak signifikan (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan: Kolesterol merupakan komposisi batu empedu yang paling banyak ditemukan. Perempuan dan kelompok usia tua merupakan yang paling banyak menderita batu empedu. Terdapat hubungan antara kelompok usia dengan komposisi kolesterol namun tidak pada komposisi lainnya. Tidak terdapat hubungan pula antara jenis kelamin terhadap komposisi batu empedu.

Background: Gallstones are a disease that is commonly found in Western countries. But with the socio-economic changes, it is also commonly found in developing countries. The composition of gallstones can be influenced by age and gender. Objective: This research was done to know the distribution of gallstones composition and its relationship to age and gender in Jakarta. Methods: This research is a cross-sectional study with 230 samples of gallstone composition analysis data in the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of FKUI. The data were analyzed by SPSS type 20 using the mann whitney test to know the relationship between age groups on the composition of Fe, bile pigment, and phosphat and the chi square test to see the relationship between sex on the composition of gallstones and also to know the relationship between age groups on the composition of cholesterol, calcium, and carbonate. Results: Gallstone are more common in females then males (1.7 : 1) and in the 40—49 year age group (27.00%). The most common composition was found is cholesterol (83,91%). The relationship betweem age group to composition of cholesterol showed significant result (p < 0.05) but insignificant results (p > 0,05) to others composition of gallstone and also relationship between gender to composition of gallstones showed insignificant results (p > 0,05). Conclusion: Cholesterol is the most common gallstone composition. Women and older age were the most suffering from gallstone. There is a relationship between age groups and cholesterol composition but not the others composition. There is also no relationship between sex with the composition of gallstones.
