The causes of hepatocellular cholestasis in adult are sepsis induced
cholestasis, hepatitis virus infection, alcohol consumption, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), drug induced liver injury, genetic disorders, malignancy, vascular disorders, liver cirrhosis; whereas the causes of cholangiocellular cholestasis are Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC), Primary
