Potensi Efek Tumesen pada Penyuntikan dengan Teknik Tumesen untuk Menghambat Konduksi Saraf tanpa Penggunaan Zat Anestesi Lokal = The Potential of Tumescence Effect Created by Tumescent Injection Technique to Block Nerve Conduction without the Use of Local Anesthesia.

This study aimed to delineate whether the tumescence environment created by one-permil tumescent technique has local anesthesia effect. Four different composition and volume of tumescent solution were injected to 50 Swiss Webster mice. Intervention groups were divided by the type and volume of injected tumescent solution (A, tumescent solution with 0.2% lidocaine; B, tumescent solution with 0.04% lidocaine; C, tumescent solution without lidocaine; D, doubled volume of tumescent solution without lidocaine; E, control). Local anesthesia effect at the paw and the tail of the mice were tested by using formalin test (n = 25) and tail immersion test (n=25). Pain response behavior in the form of paw licking duration and tail withdrawal latency were observed. ANOVA was used to test the statistical difference with p
