Analisis stress oksidatif pada bayi hiperbilirubinemia sebelum dan Sesudah fototerapi: pemeriksaan malondialdehid dan aktivitas katalase = Oxidative stress analysis in neonatal hyperbilirubinemia before and After phototherapy: malondialdehid and catalase activity examination.

Tesis ini membahas perubahan kadar oksidan (Malondialdehid) dan anti oksidan (AktivitasKatalase) setelah foto terapi pada bayi dengan hiperbilirubinemia. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu pretest- postest control group, dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Sanglah, Bali. Hasil penelitian didapatkan peningkatan oksidan dan penurunan antioksi dan setelah fototerapi. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan adanya hubungan antara peningkatan kadar MDA dan penurunan kadar aktivitas katalase sesudah fototerapi. Simpulan penelitian ini foto terapi menyebabkan peningkatan oksidan dan penurunan antioksidan pada bayi dengan hiperbilirubinemia. Foto terapi pada bayi dengan hiperbilirubinemia perlu dipertimbangkan dengan baik dan penggantian fototerapi konvensional dengan LED.

This study discusses the changes of oxidant (Malondialdehid) and antioxidant levels (Catalase Activity) after phototherapy in infants with hyperbilirubinemia. This study is a pretest-postest control group study, conducted at Sanglah Hospital, Bali. The results obtained increased oxidants and decreased antioxidants after phototherapy. In this study found an association between elevated levels of MDA and decreased levels of catalase activity after phototherapy. The conclusions of this phototherapy study led to increased oxidants and decreased antioxidants in infants with hyperbilirubinemia. Phototherapy in infants with hyperbilirubinemia needs to be considered well and the replacement of conventional phototherapy with LEDs.
