Knowledge and Attitude toward Academic Dishonesty among Residents of Medical Faculty of Universitas Indonesia in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital = Tingkat Pengetahuan dan Sikap pada Mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis di Universitas Indonesia dan Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo terhadap Kecurangan Akademik.

Background: The number of academic fraud cases such as plagiarism has been significant increasing recently. Plagiarism can be prevented by increasing the knowledge and how to address it. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation between knowledge and attitudes toward plagiarism, and factors that can influence it, as well as identify the prevalence of plagiarism had done. Method: The study was conducted among students of Residents of University of Indonesia at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. Out of 1996 residents, 105 was chosen using purposive sampling method. Self-administered of prepared valid & realiable tested questionnaires had done. Results: There were 50% and 91.4% of subjects have good knowledge towards plagiarism and non-plagiarism academic fraud respectively. 54.8% of subjects had bad attitude towards plagiarism and 73.3% of them had good attitude towards non-plagiarism academic fraud.
