Efektivitas aplikasi bacillus thuringiensis israelensis terhadap pengendalian larva aedes aegypti, penelitian ini dilakukan pada tempat penampungan air luar rumah di Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Timur, Jakarta Pusat. = The Effectiveness of Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis Application for Managing Aedes aegypti larvae at Outdoor Fixed Container in West Cempaka Putih and East Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.

Chemical larvicides for combating Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) have made Aedes aegypti larvae resistant; a biological agent is needed—Bti. This research’s goal is to obtain information about the effectiveness of Bti. Using a quasi-experimental design, sample collections were conducted on all containers in 120 houses. Results show that DHF disseminates widely at a medium density level, and there is no significant difference in the existence of larvae between the two regions. The conclusion is that East and West Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, are high-risk areas for DHF spreading, and the application of Bti is effective in decreasing the presence of larvae in outdoor fixed containers, although not statistically significant.
