Efektivitas bacillus thuringiensis israelensis dalam menurunkan kepadatan dan penyebaran aedes aegypti di kelurahan Paseban, Jakarta Pusat. = The Effectiveness of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis in reducing the density and spread of Aedes aegypti in district of Paseban, Central Jakarta.

Demam Berdarah Dengue merupakan penyakit infeksi tropis yang masih menjadi masalah serius di Indonesia. Untuk itu, perlu agen biologi ramah lingkungan, yaitu Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Bti dalam menurunkan kepadatan dan penyebaran Aedes aegypti. Di daerah perlakuan container TPA diberikan Bti 2ml/m2, lalu disurvei kembali satu bulan kemudian. Dari seluruh data yang terkumpul, didapat house index 32%, container index 18,3%, dan breateu index 43 sebelum pemberian Bti. Dan setelah aplikasi Bti, didapat house index 30%, container index 18,7%, dan breateu index 44. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan tingkat kepadatan dan penyebaran DBD sebelum aplikasi Bti tidak berbeda bermakna dibandingkan setelah aplikasi Bti.

Dengue High Fever is a tropical infectious disease that being a serious problem in Indonesia. For that reason, places for vector reproduction is need to be determined. The purpose of this study is to determine effectiveness of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis in reducing the density and spread of DHF vector. In the surveillance area, TPA containers were given Bti and then examined a month after. From the data, in the surveillance area, the house index was 32%; the container index was 18,3%; and the breateu index was 43 before Bti application. And after Bti application the house index was 30%; the container index was 18,72%, and the breateu index was 44.These results showed that the density and the spread of DHF is considered high after Bti application. From the analysis, is found that there is no association between the larvae existence and Bti application.
