Tingkat pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga yang telah mendapatkan penyuluhan pertolongan pertama DBD di Paseban Timur, Jakarta Pusat. = The Level of Knowledge among Housewives at East Paseban Central Jakarta after Obtaining Health Promotion on First Aid of DHF.

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Jakarta antara lain di kelurahan Paseban. Sudikes Jakarta Pusat melaporkan terdapat 154 penderita DBD pada tahun 2007 dan 135 penderita pada tahun 2008, dan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan 13 April tahun 2009 jumlah penderita DBD telah mencapai 44 orang. Untuk menurunkan morbiditas dan mortalitas DBD, masyarakat perlu diberikan penyuluhan mengenai DBD setelah itu tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dievaluasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah jumlah IRT yang telah mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan baik > 80% setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 20-21 Juni 2009 dengan mewawancara 106 ibu rumah tangga (IRT) dengan bantuan kuesioner di Paseban Timur. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa 28 IRT (26.4%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, 45 IRT (42.5%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan 33 IRT (31.1%) memiliki pengetahuan kurang mengenai pertolongan pertama pada DBD. Pada uji chi square, terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan IRT mengenai pertolongan pertama DBD dengan usia IRT (p = 0.02) dan jumlah sumber informasi (p = 0.014). Tidak ada perbedaan bermakna antara pengetahuan IRT mengenai pertolongan pertama DBD dengan pekerjaan (p = 0.401), tingkat pendidikan (p = 0.308) dan aktivitas (p = 0.573). Disimpulkan bahwa jumlah IRT yang mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan baik mengenai pertolongan pertama DBD belum mencapai > 80%. Tingkat pengetahuan tersebut berhubungan dengan usia IRT dan jumlah sumber informasi tetapi tidak berhubungan dengan pekerjaan, tingkat pendidikan dan aktivitas IRT.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a problem for Jakarta’s health climate especially at Paseban village. It is reported by Health Department of Central Jakarta that there are 154 patients of DHF in year 2007, 135 patients in year 2008 and 44 patients on January-April 2009. To decrease the morbidity and mortality of DHF it is important to give a health promotion to the community and reevaluate the knowledge of the community afterward. The objective of this research is to find out if the ammount of the housewives with good knowledge about the first aid of DHF are > 80% after the health promotion being held at East Paseban .The design of this research is cross-sectional. The data was taken on 20-21 st June 2009 by doing interview to the housewives and filling the questioners at East Paseban. The survey showed that 28 housewives (26.4%) have good knowledge, 45 housewives (42.5%) have fair knowledge and 33 housewives (31.1%) have low knowledge on first aid of DHF. By using chi square test this research found that there are significant difference on the knowledge of housewives with their ages (p = 0.02) and the number of information sources ( p = 0.014). There are no significant difference on the knowledge of housewives with their jobs (p = 0.401), education levels (p = 0.308) and activities (p = 0.573). The conclusion is the number of housewives with good knowledge level on first aid of DHF have not reach > 80%. This levels of knowledge are related to the ages and the source of informations of the housewives but not related to the jobs, education levels and activities of East Paseban housewives.
