Keberadaan larva aedes aegypti di container TPA dan non TPA setelah penyuluhan DBD di Paseban Timur, Jakarta Pusat. = The Correlation between the Type of Container and the Existence of Ae. aegypti after Health promotion in East Paseban, Central Jakarta.
Demam berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius di Jakarta, antara lain di Kelurahan Paseban. Berdasarkan data hingga Maret 2009 Kelurahan Paseban merupakan zona merah sehingga diperlukan pemberantasan vektor DBD yang melibatkan seluruh warga. Agar pemberantasan tepat sasaran, warga perlu diberikan pengetahuan mengenai DBD melalui penyuluhan. Setelah penyuluhan dilakukan survey entomologi untuk mengetahui kepadatan, penyebaran serta keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti di berbagai container. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2009 di Paseban Timur, Jakarta Pusat. Survei entomologi dilakukan dengan single larval method, yaitu mengambil satu larva dari setiap container lalu diidentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan chi- square test untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis container dengan keberadaan larva. Hasil survey menunjukkan house index sebesar 29%, container index 7,6%, dan breateu index sebesar 35 yang berarti bahwa Paseban Timur merupakan daerah transmisi tinggi DBD karena melebihi indicator standar WHO. Pada chi-square test didapatkan perbedaan bermakna (p = 0,001) antara jenis container dengan keberadaan larva. Disimpulkan bahwa kepadatan dan penyebaran vektor DBD masih melebihi standar WHO walaupun telah diberikan penyuluhan, dengan hasil keberadaan larva di non TPA lebih banyak daripada TPA.

Dengue Haemorragic Fever (DHF) is one of infectious diseases that remains a serious health problem in Indonesia, including in East Paseban. Based on data up to March 2009 shows that Paseban is implied in red zone so that needed to control dengue vector. In order to require success eradicating dengue vector, knowledge of the dengue through counseling to the public is needed. This study aims to determine the relationship between the type of container and the presence of Ae. aegypti. The container is divided into two types: water reservoirs (TPA) and Non water reservoirs (non-TPA). The data collection was conducted in 21 June 2009 in East Paseban, Central Jakarta. Survey was done with single-larval method, by taking one larvae from each container in a house then identified them with microscope. The data obtained were analyzed using chi-square test to determine the relationship type of container to the presence of larvae. From the data, the house index was 29%; container index was 7,6%; and breateu index was 35. These results showed that the spread of DHF in East Paseban is considered high. From the chi-square test analysis, we found that there is correlation between the type of container and the larvae existence, with the p count is 0.001. In conclusion, the density of DHF vector population in non-TPA containers is higher than TPA.
