Keberadaan larva aedes aegypti dan hubungannya dengan penggunaan temefos di kelurahan Paseban, Jakarta Pusat. = The Existence of Ae. Aegypti Larva and The Assosiation between the materials of container.
Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan di Jakarta antara lain di kelurahan Paseban. Untuk merencanakan pemberantasan DBD, pengetahuan tentang kepadatan dan tempat berkembang biak vektor DBD diperlukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti berdasarkan bahan container. Survei entomologi keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti dilakukan pada tanggal 2-3 Mei 2009 di Paseban Timur yang merupakan salah satu daerah dengan kasus DBD tinggi. Pengambilan data dilakukan di 100 rumah dengan metode single-larval, yaitu mengambil satu larva di setiap container lalu diidentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop. Container dikategorikan menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok container yang terbuat dari bahan logam dan bahan non-logam. Sebagian besar larva ditemukan pada container berbahan non-logam (95,1%) dibandingkan di container berbahan logam (4,9%). Dari 100 rumah yang diteliti didapatkan house index sebesar 19%, container index sebesar 14,80%, dan Breateu index sebesar 41. Dari uji chi-square diketahui tidak terdapat hubungan antara bahan container dengan keberadaan larva (p = 0,106). Disimpulkan bahwa kepadatan vektor DBD di Kelurahan Paseban tergolong tinggi dan kepadatan vektor DBD tidak berhubungan dengan bahan container.

Dengue High Fever (DHF) is a disease considered as major public health problem in Jakarta, one of which is in Paseban Village. To control the spread of DHF, the study about vector density and vector breeding site has to be conducted. The purpose of this research was to determine the existence of Ae. Aegypti larvae and its association with the containers materials. The entomoligical survey of Ae.aegypti larvae existence was conducted in May 2nd-3rd 2009 in Paseban Timur, the area with high case of DHF. Data collection was conducted in 100 houses using single larval method, by taking one larvae from each container then identified using microscope. The containers were categorized into two main categories which are the metal material containers and the non-metal material containers. Most of positive larvae was found in non-metal material container (95,1%) rather than in metal material container (4,9%). From the survey conducted, it was found that the house index was 19 %, container index was 14,80 %, and Breateu index was 41. From chi-square test, it was known that there is no association between containers materials and the existence of Ae.aegypti larvae (p=0,106). It was concluded that vector density in Paseban Village was considred high and there was no association between the density of DHF vector with the container material.
