Hubungan Volume Container dengan Keberadaan Larva Aedes Aegypti Setelah Penyuluhan DBD di Paseban Timur, Jakarta Pusat. = The Association between Water Volume of Container with the Existence of Aedes Aegypti Larva After DHF Counseling in East Paseban, Central Jakarta.

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia terutama di kota besar. Kelurahan Paseban adalah salah satu daerah endemis DBD di DKI Jakarta. Pada tahun 2008 terdapat 105 penderita DBD di Kelurahan Paseban dan pada tiga bulan pertama pada tahun 2009 terdapat 44 penderita. Untuk memberantas DBD warga perlu diberikan penyuluhan agar pemberantasan tepat sasaran. Setelah penyuluhan, dilakukan survey entomologi untuk mengetahui kepadatan, penyebaran dan keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti. penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional.Survei dilakukan pada tanggal 29 Juni 2009 di Paseban Timur dengan mengambil sampel larva di 100 rumah menggunakan single- larval methode, lalu diidentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop. Selanjutnya container dikategorikan menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok dengan volume air ≤ 1 liter dan volume > 1 liter. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Dari 100 rumah yang diteliti didapatkan house index 29 %, container index 7,6 %, dan breateu index 35 yang berarti Paseban timur tergolong daerah transmisi tinggi DBD karena house index > 10 %. Dari uji chi-square didapat nilai p = 0,092 yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara keberadaan larva dengan volume air container. Disimpulkan bahwa kepadatan dan penyebaran vector DBD masih lebih tinggi dari standar WHO walaupun warga telah diberikan penyuluhan. Keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti tidak berhubungan dengan volume air container.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem in Indonesia especially in the big cities. Paseban district is one of the endemic areas of DHF in DKI Jakarta. In 2008, there are 105 DHF patients in Paseban District, and in the three first months on 2009 there are 44 patients. To eradicate DHF, the residents needs to be counseled so that the eradication is on target. After the counseling, an entomologic survey is conducted to assess the density, distribution, and existence of Ae. aegypti larva. The research is conducted with cross sectional design. The survey was conducted on June 29, 2009 di East Paseban by taking larva sample in 100 houses using single-larval methode, then the samples are identified using a microscope. Furthermore, the container is categorized into two groups, which is the group with water volume of less than 1 liter and more than one l liter. The data is analyzed by chi-square method. From 100 houses which was inspected, it was obtained that the house index 29 %, container index 7,6 %, dan breateu index 35 which means that East paseban is characterized as a high transmission DHF area because its house index is > 10 %. From the chi-square test, we obtain that the value of p = 0,092 which means that there are no significant difference between the existence of larva with the volume of water in the container. It was concluded that the density and distribution of DHF vector is still higher than the WHO standards although counseling has been conducted. The existence of Ae. aegypti is not related to the volume of water in the container.
