Hubungan keberadaan larva aedes aegypti dengan sumber air container di Paseban Barat, Jakarta Pusat. = The Association between The Existence of Aedes aegypti Larva and Container Water Source in West Paseban, Central Jakarta.
Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di DKI Jakarta, termasuk di Paseban Barat. Pemberantasan DBD perlu dilakukan dengan cara memberantas vektornya sehingga perlu dilakukan survei entomologi sebagai data dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti berdasarkan sumber air container di Paseban Barat sebagai upaya dalam pemberantasan vektor DBD. Survei larva dilaksanakan pada 2-3 Mei 2009 dilakukan di 100 rumah dengan single-larval method. Container dibagi berdasarkan sumber airnya yaitu air tanah dan air PAM. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan Fisher’s Exact Test untuk mengetahui hubungan keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti dengan sumber air. Dari 100 rumah yang diteliti didapatkan container index 5,8%, house index 12 %, dan breteau index 18 yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepadatan dan penyebaran vektor DBD di Paseban Barat tergolong tinggi. Larva lebih banyak ditemukan pada container dengan air tanah (5,1%) dibandingkan container dengan air PAM (0,6%). Berdasarkan Fisher’s Exact Test tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti di air tanah dan air PAM dengan nilai p sebesar 0,171. Disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan larva Ae. aegypti di Paseban Barat tidak berhubungan dengan sumber air container.

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the diseases that became a public health problem in Jakarta, including Paseban subdistrict. The controlling of DHF needs to be done by controlling its vector, thus an entomology survey is needed for baseline data. The purpose of this research is to study the existence of Ae.aegypti larva based on the container water source in West Paseban as an effort in controlling DHF vector. The larva survey is done on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2009 in 100 houses using single-larval method. The container is classified into ground water and piped water. The collected data was analyzed with Fisher’s Exact Test to determine the association between Ae. aegypti larva and water source. From 100 houses that were studied, researcher found that the container index was 5.8%, the house index was 12%, and the breteau index was 18 which show that the density and distribution of DHF vector in West Paseban is high. More larvae were found in container with ground water (5.1%) compare to container with piped water (0.6%). After the data was analyzed with Fisher’s Exact Test, there is no difference on Ae. aegypti larva existence in ground water or piped water (p = 0.171). Therefore, the existence of Ae. aegypti larva in West Paseban is not associated with water source.
