Hubungan jenis permukaan container dengan keberadaan larva aedes sp di Paseban Timur, Jakarta Pusat. = The Correlation between Container Surfaces and the Existence of Aedes sp. in East Paseban, Central Jakarta.

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Jakarta antara lain di Kelurahan Paseban. Untuk melakukan pemberantasan vektor DBD perlu diketahui tempat berkembangbiak vektor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberadaan vektor DBD pada container permukaan kasar dan licin dalam upaya mempersiapkan pemberantasan vektor DBD. Survei keberasaan larva DBD dilakukan pada tanggal 2 - 3 Mei 2009 di Paseban Timur yang merupakan daerah dengan kasus DBD yang tinggi di Jakarta Pusat. Pengambilan data dilakukan di 100 rumah dengan metode single-larvae, yaitu mengambil satu larva di setiap container pada satu rumah lalu diindentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop. Contrainer tersebut nantinya akan dibedakan menjadi 2 kategori, yaitu container permukaan kasar dan licin. Data yang terkumpul lalu dianallisis menggunakan biji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis permukaan contrainer terhadap keberadaan larva. Dari 100 rumah yang diteliti didapatkan house index sebesar 27%, container index sebesar 13,8% dan breateu index sebesar 46. Tingkat penyebaran DBD di Paseban Timur ini tergolong tinggi, karena house index > 10%. Sebagian besar larva ditemukan pada container permukaan kasar, yaitu 31 container (9,5%), dibandingkan permukaan licin, yaitu 15 container (4,5%). Dari analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square, tidak terdapat hubungan antara jenis permukaan container dengan keberadaan larva, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,281. Disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan populasi vektor DBD pada container permukaan kasar lebih tinggi dari container permukaan licin dan keberadaan vektor DBD tidak berhubungan dengan jenis permukaan container.

Dengue High Fever (DHF) is a disease, which is a problem in the public health especially in Paseban District. To control the DHF vektor, places for vector reproduction is needed to be determined. The purpose of this research is to determine the existence of DHF vector in the rough surfaced container and smoothsurfaced container as a way to prepare of controlling the DHF vektor. The survey of DHF vektor existence was conducted the DHF vektor. The survey of DHF vector existence was conducted in 2 - 3 May 2009 in East Paseban, which is considered as an area with high cases of DHF in Central Jakarta. The collection of data was conducted in 100 houses with single-larvae method, by taking one larvae from each container in a house then identified them with microscope. later on, the container will be devided into 2 distinct categories, rough surfaced container and smooth surfaced container. The data collected will be analyzed with chi-square test to know the correlation between the container surfaces and the larvae existence. From 100 houses surveyed, the house index was 27%; container index was 13,8%; and breateu index was 46. The spread of DFH in East Paseban is considered high because the house index indicates more than 10%. Most of the larvaes were found in rough surfaced containers, by 31 containers (9,5%), compared to smooth surfaced container, by 15 containers (4,5%). From the chi-square test analysis, we found that there is no correlation between the container surfaces and the larvae existence, with the p count is 0,281. in conclusion, the exixtence of DHF vector population in rough of DHF vector population doesn't correlated with the container surfaces.
